An important historical shift in the process of developing education in Saudi Arabia, through its contribution to the transformation of the teacher's job into a professional profession, with the aim of "professionalizing education" as the teacher is one of the pillars of the development of the education sector in the Kingdom.

The apprenticeship project is linked to the sustainable development goals by achieving comprehensive, equitable, high-quality and high-quality education for all segments of society to build the human capital necessary to achieve sustainable development.

​The Virtual School

The project is based on making the best possible utilization of new technologies in the educational process to increase the efficiency of education and provide information through a host of technological services that include iEN Satellite TV Channels, the iEN Channel on YouTube, the iEN Enrichment Portal, Future Gate, and the Unified Education System.

The virtual school project is linked to the sustainable development goals to achieve comprehensive, equitable, and high-quality education for all segments of society to build the human capital needed to achieve sustainable development, and this project establishes an empowered infrastructure in the education sector and continuity in achieving the principle of gender equity in education and learning opportunities, as well as raising the level of intellectual and scientific production to form a tributary that achieves a balance with the consumption of natural resources.

Through the Future Gate project, the Ministry of Education is working on a shift towards digital education. Students can learn in a new educational environment that depends on technology to deliver knowledge and increase scientific outcomes. It supports the development of the scientific and pedagogical capacities of teachers.
