The Ministry of Education signed with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (formerly the Ministry of Civil Service) an information exchange agreement by linking the "Fares" project with the systems of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.
The agreement aims to complete the efforts of the two ministries in continuing cooperation, as it is a step towards future and continuous interdependence to include higher education and faculty members. It seeks to fully link all data and confirm the conformity of the information in the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development as the documenting authority for all government jobs, with the Ministry of Education and its employees of teachers and administrators, and to avoid paper transactions.
One of the most important terms of the agreement is linking the "Fares" system project to the systems of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development and exchanging the information available to them regarding the provision of electronic services to each of them through verification, inquiry, and integration of information between the systems. The agreement seeks to avoid errors in data entry, verify the conformity of the data available to each party, and achieve the principle of complementary work to organize the implementation of joint tasks. In addition, it provides technical, legal, and procedural support between the two sides and provides accurate data in the information exchanged between the two parties through coordination between the competent departments.
The Ministry of Education also signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. It aims to develop educational curricula and tracks in line with the digital needs of the future, develop the digital skills of male and female teachers, and train students in schools and universities in digital skills necessary for the labor market, especially with regard to future technologies. The memorandum encourages organizing events and competitions to stimulate a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in the educational sector and exchanging information, data, statistics, and studies between the two ministries.
The Ministries of Education, represented by the Scholarship Agency, and Communications and Information Technology, represented by the Agency for Technology Industry and Digital Capabilities, also signed a cooperation agreement. It deals with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques program for external scholarships, which represents the direct real conformity between the job and specialization and the link between current and future jobs and scholarships.
