Bereavement Leave

Description

An electronic service which allows the workers in the education ministry to

request a bereavement leave using the Faris system without having to visit the ministry headquarters.

• Log into the Faris service portal.
• Then, access the employee's account in the service.
• Click on the main menu.
• Select the employee's self-service validity option.
• Click on the requests list.
• Then, choose the leave requests option.
• Next, select the leave request.
• On the following page, choose the type of leave (bereavement leave).
• Select the start date and the end date.
• Click on the icon to calculate the period.
• The program calculates the period automatically and verifies the validity of the employee's leave period.
• The system then requests the attachments.
• Press the check button.
• The request summary page then appears for data review.
• After verifying all the entered data, the request is forwarded to the competent authority.
• The request status will remain pending until the request procedures are completed.
