His Excellency the Minister of Education, Dr. Hamad bin Mohammad Al Sheikh, has participated on Sunday morning, the education staff, in their celebration of the 91st Saudi National Day at the Ministry’s headquarters in Riyadh, in a way that enhances the values of loyalty and belonging to the homeland and its leadership.
The ceremony has included the honoring of His Excellency the Minister of Education the Saudi karate player; Tariq Hamdi, on the occasion of his winning the silver medal in the Tokyo Olympics. He has also honored the Olympic champion Hadi Sawaan, as part of the Ministry of Education's interest in the distinguished sons and daughters of the Kingdom.
His Excellency toured the pavilion accompanying the event, which included the Ministry's achievements during the year 2020-2021, in addition to organizing some sporting events such as golf experience, and motivating sports for male and female students who participated in displaying their sports skills in front of the audience.
The ceremony has concluded with the participation of the Minister of Education in the performance of the Saudi traditional dance “Al Ardhah”, which expresses the Kingdom’s heritage, history, national unity, and the close interconnection between the people and their leadership.
