Education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is experiencing a high return on investments made by the Ministry of Education, Saudi students, scientists and educators.
Currently, the Kingdom is ranked first in the Arab world and 30th globally in the Nature Index for the Quality of Scientific Research. There are 26 Saudi universities on the list this year compared to 16 universities on the list in 2018.
The 2022 rankings for the British-based publication evaluated the quality of scientific research in countries, universities, as well as government and private institutions. The results came from the data adopted by the index based on scientific publishing in the top 82 international scientific journals. Saudi Arabia had 448 publications in those top journals.
The Ministry of Education is on a mission to make Saudi Arabia one of top centers of scientific research in the world. The Ministry gladly recognizes this latest achievement and is hard at work pioneering advancements in the field science.
