The Ministry of Education starts today, Sunday, the summer activity program “My Activity” for the year 1442 AH-2021 AD, to promote the national and educational values achieved in student activities for various educational levels, through a number of competitions, activities and summer projects according to a time plan, in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
The "My Activity" program, implemented by the General Education Agency and represented by Student Activity Department in all its tracks, aims at providing systematic and diverse activities for male and female students during the summer period, in order to ensure the their time, and refine their talents and experiences in a competitive entertainment format. In addition, it will be investing their abilities within a group a wide range of cultural, recreational and sports programs, activities and events.
The summer program includes the "Our Green Environment" project, which contributes to realizing the initiative of His Highness the Crown Prince - may God protect him - "Green Saudi Arabia", in addition to the "Al-Bab" project to enhance competition in productive skills and provide students with new ideas that open up investment opportunities for them in the labor market.
The program also includes the “Dalilah” student competition with tourism and social objectives that take part in the interaction of male and female students with the environment and the connection to the national identity, by providing introductory materials on the tourist, historical and archaeological landmarks in the regions and governorates. In addition to implementing the scouting activity “a hobby and badge” to prepare and qualify students Scouts to pass the requirements for the selected Scout Hobby badges.
The programs include an “immune” competition to participate in providing scientific and awareness materials that contribute to raising the social awareness of the importance of taking the Corona vaccine. In addition to holding popular competitions and exciting physical activities to be carried out by teachers for students in public places under the title “Our Neighborhood Yard”, in accordance with the systematic and precautionary regulations and procedures to apply them safely.
The "My Activity" program includes two competitions under the title "Read and Rise" to urge male and female students of different educational levels to participate in memorizing the Holy Qur'an, as well as providing a cultural competition for secondary school students called "Windows" that is concerned with enriching the popular aspects of knowledge, by searching for authentic Arabic proverbs. In addition to the "Imagine" competition, which aims to develop drawing and coloring skills, enhance imagination, and encourage artistic writing in Classical Arabic Language.
