  1. Log into the Faris service portal.
  2. Then, access the employee's account in the service.
  3. Click on the main menu.
  4. Select the employee's self-service validity option.
  5. Click on the requests list.
  6. Then, choose the leave requests option.
  7. Next, select the leave request.
  8. On the following page, choose the type of leave (bereavement leave).
  9. Select the start date and the end date.
  10. Click on the icon to calculate the period.
  11. The program calculates the period automatically and verifies the validity of the employee's leave period.
  12. The system then requests the attachments.
  13. Press the check button.
  14. The request summary page then appears for data review.
  15. After verifying all the entered data, the request is forwarded to the competent authority.
  16. The request status will remain pending until the request procedures are completed.
