​​​​​​​​Partnership with the private sector:​​

It is a cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Education and a private enterprise through which experiences and assets available to both parties are shared to deliver a service or product for public benefit, in addition to allowing sharing of resources, risks, and potential profits as a result of this cooperation. The Ministry of Education seeks, through these partnerships, to contribute to the promotion of the private sector, and build bridges of sustainable partnerships to implement development plans and achieve national goals and objectives for the well-being of the country and citizens, and facilitate procedures. In this direction, the Ministry of Education has achieved various partnerships with the private sector in order to achieve the lofty goals pursued by the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, in response to what the education sector received from the wise leadership, the interest in developing the educational process, and creating the appropriate environment for students. These partnerships have achieved the enhancement of investment opportunities in educational buildings and scientific research.  The Ministry has taken an additional stride in these partnerships on the way to strengthening partnership with the private sector and achieving integration between government agencies supervising education, and the investment companies that seek to take advantage of the opportunities available in this the field​: ​​

Signing a memorandum of cooperation with the Saudi Research and Media Group to provide the "Arabic Manga" magazine... for free

The Ministry of Education and the Saudi Research and Media Group signed a memorandum of cooperation to provide the "Arabic Man​ga" magazine free of charge, in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Education, Dr. Hamad Al-Sheikh, and Ms. Jumana Al-Rashed, CEO of the Saudi Research and Media Group. This memorandum comes within the framework of supporting culture and entertainment knowledge in the Kingdom, through "Manga Arabia". The magazine offers an ambitious cultural project and a reliable, safe and accessible source for everyone, through creative productions inspired by the culture and authentic values of Saudi society, and other translated works from international works produced in Japan. These cultural works contribute to enriching the national content with high quality, meaningful creative content, raising the creative sense of readers, and available to all individuals of the Family. It is an interesting and attractive job for all age groups.
The "Arabic Manga" project is supported by the Ministry of Education to provide the magazine "Arabic Manga for Children", in both print and digital versions, free of charge for all primary and intermediate schools, using it in educational curricula and student activities, and holding various competitions among school students, including storytelling and character design. The memorandum of cooperation aims to instill the appreciation of local creative works, enhance children and youth awareness of national culture and traditions, and open new horizons for them in the cultural and creative sectors to contribute positively to the economic development of the Kingdom, and to enhance the competitiveness of students’ talents on a global scale.  The Ministry believes in the importance of spreading creative materials to our young generations, empowering and motivating them to create the future. The agreement contributes to raising the Kingdom’s classification to the top five countries in the reading rate in the world, as well as contributing to attracting more readers, and raising reading hours in Saudi Arabia in general.

Partnership to operate the Abdul Latif Al-Fozan Center for Autism:

The Ministry of Education signed a partnership and agreement with Abdul Latif Al-Fozan Holding Company to operate the largest center of its kind in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, the Abdul Latif Al-Fozan Autism Center in the Eastern Province, which was established to serve people with autistic spectrum disorder, whose number exceeded 17 thousand people in the Eastern Province.   
 The partnership comes to provide qualitative services for children with autism disorder in the eastern province, and to rehabilitate and train families of children with autism on how to deal with them. The agreement also adopts working on conducting scientific research in the center's field of interest, and participating in events related to autism, locally, regionally and internationally.

Partnership to establish and operate Al-Muhaidib Center for Down Syndrome:

The Ministry of Education, represented by the General Department of Special Education, has entered into a partnership with Abdul Qader Al Muhaidib and Sons Company to establish the Al-Muhaidib Center for Down Syndrome in the city of Khobar.  The partnership aims at establishing a model educational center for Down Syndrome in the Eastern Province, and rehabilitating and training families of children with Down Syndrome on how to deal with them. The center adopts scientific research in the fields of Down Syndrome in cooperation with the relevant authorities locally, regionally and internationally and activate the events for Down Syndrome locally, regionally and internationally.

Partnership for charitable work and provision of assistance to financially needy male and female students​:

The Ministry of Education, through the Takaful Charitable Foundation, which is an institution that operates according to a non-profit charitable system, signed a number of agreements with the private sector that had a significant impact in supporting financially needy male and female students in schools in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Foundation distributed in-kind and material aid through the support of what the foundation receives from the Kingdom’s government and the corporation’s private sector partners are SABIC, Samsung, Riyad Bank, Samba Bank, Al Rajhi Bank, Saudi Aramco, Saudi Telecom and Lebara Mobile.

The Takaful Foundation, with its partners from the private sector, has provided material subsidies amounting to more than 135 million riyals to more than 270,000 male and female students. It has also distributed more than 250,000 tablets for male and female students registered in the Foundation who are eligible for support.

"Takaful" foundation offers a number of other support programs (material, moral and educational) for male and female students who benefit from its services. These programs include training and bridging programs, motivation programs and encouragement of outstanding students such as the "Tawfaouq" award, in-kind support programs "Wajbati” ( My meal)   and "Kiswati" ( My clothing ) and the digital empowerment program "The Gift of Knowledge" and the scientific support programs “e-book project” and “free tutoring lessons”, and the opportunity for “ Faridati ”.
