Global universities from the US, UK, and China participate in Riyadh's Education Global Exhibition 2025

The capital, Riyadh, witnessed a significant presence from several international universities at the Education Global Exhibition (EDGEx 2025). Organized by the Ministry of Education from April 13 to 16, the event brought together academic institutions worldwide, providing an international platform for communication, exchanging expertise, and building academic partnerships.
American universities, including the University of Arizona, Rowan University, and the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy, were well represented, along with specialized technical colleges such as Spartan College, which highlighted its aviation and advanced technologies programs.
Harbin Institute of Technology, located in China, also contributed to the exhibition by showcasing its research projects in space, engineering, and innovative technologies. This participation affirms the role of Asian universities in the global academic landscape.
From the U.K., several prominent Russell Group universities emerged, including Cardiff University, Newcastle University, Swansea University, the University of Birmingham—Dubai Branch, the University of Glasgow, and the University of Manchester. These institutions offered diverse programs in scientific research, innovation, the humanities, and engineering, and they announced their intent to establish strategic partnerships with their counterparts in the kingdom.
The participating universities engaged with visiting students and academics through live meetings, workshops, and discussion sessions that explored the future of education and innovation, vocational education, and the role of artificial intelligence in curriculum development.
The event attracted significant attention from academic and student bodies, with representatives of international universities praising the kingdom's attractive educational environment and its capabilities to become a global center for education and research in the coming years.
