 Saudi Arabia wins the Grand Prix at the 2025 Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions, receiving 6 international awards and 124 international medals

 

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has achieved yet another significant accomplishment at the 2025 Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions. The Grand Prix was awarded to innovator Dr. Saad Al-Anzi from Majmaah University. Additionally, Saudi innovators received 6 international awards and 124 international medals, marking a historic first for the Saudi education system since the exhibition's inception.

Saudi Arabia participated in the exhibition with 134 scientific inventions, representing a significant contribution among more than 1,000 entries from 35 countries worldwide. 161 Saudi innovators, including individuals from public education, universities, technical training, and various faculty members, competed for international awards.

The awards were distributed among 124 medals won by students from university education, general education, and the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation. Additionally, there were six special awards, four of which were given to university education and two to general education, recognizing scientific and technical innovations across various fields, including engineering, medicine, chemistry, environment, plant sciences, software systems, and energy.

For his part, the Grand Prix-winning innovator, Dr. Saad Al-Anzi, expressed his profound gratitude and appreciation to the wise leadership for their support of innovators. He emphasized that this win symbolizes the kingdom's commitment to fostering innovation and empowering national minds.
