The Ministry of Education participates in the 2025 Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions.

The Ministry of Education is participating in the 50th Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions, scheduled to take place in Geneva, Switzerland, from April 9 to 13, 2025. This exhibition will feature 134 scientific inventions from Saudi Arabia alongside over 1,000 inventions from 35 countries worldwide. Eighty percent (80%) of the Saudi exhibitors will be universities and companies, while the remaining twenty percent (20%) will include inventors and researchers from the private sector.

Approximately 161 students, both male and female, from general education, universities, and technical training institutions, along with several faculty members, will compete against students and inventors from around the globe for seven major awards presented by the exhibition. The competition will showcase inventions across various scientific fields highlighted by the exhibition, including marine safety and technology, environmental technology and energy efficiency, nanotechnology and materials science, security and biometric technology, healthcare and medical devices, robotics and electromagnetic technology, transportation and infrastructure, and artificial intelligence.

For his part, the Deputy Minister for International Cooperation and head of the Saudi delegation, Prof. Nasser bin Mohammed Al-Aqili, emphasized that the ministry's participation in this year's 50th edition of the exhibition aligns with its efforts to support and nurture talented students. He stresses the importance of enhancing their participation in international scientific forums, with a focus on aligning national priorities with research, development, and innovation. This aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to cultivate globally competitive citizens.

The Ministry of Education organized training programs for students participating in the exhibition, aiming to enhance their preparedness and enable them to communicate effectively at the international level. A training meeting was held at the ministry's headquarters in Riyadh in collaboration with the Salam Project for Cultural Communication. Additionally, the King Salman Science Oasis collaborated with the ministry to host a second meeting. Specialized workshops were conducted to connect inventors with both local and international experts, facilitating the exchange of knowledge with researchers and entrepreneurs.
