The Ministry of Education won the Makkah Award for Excellence in its 14th edition for the "Urban Excellence" branch after implementing the urgent educational projects initiative during the slum clearance project in Jeddah Governorate. The projects were executed according to an integrated plan of the Ministry of Education in record time with the latest architectural designs to provide a safe and attractive learning environment for education personnel and students.
On this occasion, His Excellency the Minister of Education expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz - may Allah protect them - for their generous care, wise guidance, unending generosity and support provided to the education sector.
His Excellency noted that the urgent educational projects initiative during the slum clearance project in Jeddah Governorate was implemented with the grace of Allah, the support of the wise leadership, and the interest and continuous follow-up by His Royal Highness Prince Khaled Al-Faisal Al Saud, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Governor of Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region, and His Highness, his deputy after integrating the efforts of the relevant government and private sectors to contribute to covering the need for school seats for our male and female students in Jeddah, and ensure that the educational process does not stop or falter.
During his speech at the ceremony honoring the winners in all branches of the Makkah Award for Excellence in its fourteenth session for the works of 2022, His Excellency expressed his deep thanks to His Royal Highness Prince Khaled Al-Faisal Al Saud, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Governor of Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region, and His Highness, his deputy, for the great honor that the Ministry of Education in all its sectors in the Kingdom received. This was evident in its winning the 2022 edition of this award in the Urban Excellence Branch because of the Ministry's work in implementing the Urgent Projects Initiative during the slum clearance project in Jeddah Governorate.
The Minister of Education concluded his speech with thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Adviser to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Governor of Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region, His Highness his deputy, and His Highness the Governor of Jeddah. He extended his thanks to all their Excellences the leaders of government sectors in the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, and to all partners from the private sector for their great keenness to achieve this national achievement and to adapt all the challenges that faced its implementation, which contributed effectively to the Ministry of Education's achievement of this precious award.
