Integrated E-Government
The Ministry of Education has contributed to the development of the E-Government Program, known as “YESSER,” to support and realize its objectives using communications and information technologies in an interactive and integrational manner. Moreover, the Ministry aims to achieve its objectives by liaising with the various governmental entities. The Ministry also plans to exchange the shared governmental data with the entities entitled to use the data to promptly deliver their e-governmental services and securely via the Secure Government Network and the Government Service Bus (TAKAMUL).
As for the Integrated e-Government Program, it is one of the most important mainstays of the Saudi digitization strategy leading to the smart government application through concerted efforts and coordination among governmental entities. Hence, this endeavor realizes integration and provides all e-Government-related services and information digitally within an integrated unified framework for all end users, including citizens, residents, and business professionals.
The Integrated e-Government Program is also a significant pillar of the drive to achieve the Saudi 2030 Vision. It aspires to reach such goals by improving the governance of digital transformation and adopting smart government solutions. The e-Government program explores the optimal usage of ICT and the simplification and streamlining of government procedures and systems. To keep track of the realization of the integrated e-Government Program goals, the Ministry continually endeavors to improve systems, infrastructure, and related procedures.
