The Education Global Exhibition concludes with over 20,000 visitors
The Education Global Exhibition (EDGEx 2025), organized by the Ministry of Education, occurred from April 13 to 16 in Riyadh and concluded today. Over four days, the event attracted over 20,000 local and international visitors, including government officials, educational leaders, businesspeople, academics, professionals, specialists, and individuals interested in education.
The exhibition featured various pavilions, including 100 leading technology companies, investors from the education sector, and over 40 local and international universities, colleges, and educational institutions. These pavilions showcased their latest innovations in education and learning, their most notable academic and training programs, and significant scientific initiatives. They also offered specialized workshops and engaged in discussion and debate sessions.
The scientific program of the Education Global Exhibition included a wide range of dialogue and discussion sessions and interactive training workshops, totaling more than 100 workshops and sessions. Over 40 local and international experts and specialists in education presented these sessions. These scientific forums examined various topics, particularly emphasizing the future of digital education, the role of artificial intelligence in developing learning models, the alignment of curricula with employment and labor market requirements, and an overview of prominent successful educational experiences both globally and locally.
The Ministry of Education, along with various government and private entities, universities, and both local and international educational institutions participating in EDGEx 2025, has finalized approximately 40 agreements and memoranda of understanding. These agreements are designed to enhance regional and international cooperation in education, learning, training, and technology, ensuring alignment with global developments.
At the closing ceremony of the exhibition, His Excellency the Minister of Education, Mr. Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan, honored the participating entities, organizers, partners, and sponsors in recognition of their contributions to the success of this global educational event. This exhibition serves as a pioneering and comprehensive platform for envisioning the future of education and highlighting innovative educational solutions that promote its advancement through collaboration with investors, universities, and experts in the education and technology sectors.
By hosting the Education Global Exhibition (EDGEx 2025), the Ministry of Education aims to enhance the quality of education both within the Kingdom and globally through three main pillars: showcasing innovative solutions and ideas, highlighting the latest educational technologies, and celebrating the accomplishments of students, teachers, and supporters.
