​​​​ISEF 2025 kicks off tomorrow in Columbus, USA, with the participation of 40 Saudi students



According to US local time, the ISEF 2025 kicks off tomorrow, Monday, in Columbus, USA. More than 1,700 male and female students from more than 70 countries will participate. The event will continue until May 16.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is participating in these competitions with 40 male and female students from the Ministry of Education, King Abdulaziz, and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba). They submitted 40 scientific projects. Today, their projects were presented to ensure scientific ethics and the completeness of the student project models.

​The Saudi team includes a ​group​ of outstanding students, chosen from over 1,000 male and female students who participated in 23,000 scientific projects in the National Olympiad for Scientific Creativity "Ibdaa 2025" competitions across 22 scientific fields.​

The participating students have undergone intensive rehabilitation and training programs, provided by the Mawhiba Foundation, to develop their research and scientific skills and enable them to represent the Kingdom in international forums with competence and proficiency.

ISEF is the largest international competitive scientific forum for pre-university students in science and engineering. Projects are evaluated by a panel of international scientists and experts.

The kingdom has achieved remarkable success at ISEF, winning 160 international awards in previous participation, which include 110 Grand Prizes and 50 Special Prizes. Additionally, the Mawhiba Foundation continues to present annual special international prizes as part of the exhibition's activities.
