They have surpassed their counterparts in many countries due to the unlimited support that higher education institutions find from the Wise Leadership to achieve the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which had a great impact in achieving this achievement and attracting the distinguished members internationally.
According to the Shanghai global ranking , four Saudi universities have topped A list of the best universities in the Arab region for the year 2020; They have also ranked first for the second time respectively in the fields of natural sciences, biology, mathematics, physics, chemistry, engineering sciences, and pharmaceutical sciences.
The "Shanghai" Ranking placed King Abdulaziz University at 101-150 among the countries of the world, while King Saud University ranked 151-200 globally, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology ranked 201-300, while King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals ranked 401. - 500 worldwide.
