Saudi Universities Continue to Achieve Advanced ranking Globally and in the Arab world : THE World University Rankings 2021

Saudi universities have continued to achieve advanced ranks in the British Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2021 globally, locally and in the Arab World. King Abdul Aziz University has come first in the Arab world, and locally, and ranked 201 globally, Alfaisal University has been ranked second locally, 51st in the Arab world and 251 globally, and King Saud University is ranked eighth in the Arab world, third locally and within the 401 universities globally.
King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals has occupied the fifth in the Arab world, fourth locally and among the  501 universities  globally, while King Khalid University is ranked 44th in the Arab world, fifth locally and among the 501 universities globally. King Abdullah University of Science and Technology is ranked third in the Arab world, and Prince Mohammad bin Fahd University ranked fourth in the Arab world.  King Abdullah University of Science and Technology is ranked third in the Arab world, while Imam Abdul Rahman bin Faisal is ranked sixth locally and 61 in the  Arab World  and King Saud University for Health Sciences is ranked seventh locally, 51st  in the Arab World and among the 801 universities globally. King Faisal University is ranked eighth locally and 35th in the Arab World and among the 1000 universities globally. Qassim University has come among the 1000 universities globally, ninth locally and among the 81 universities In the Arab world.  Umm Al-Qura University is ranked fourteenth in the Arab world, tenth locally and among the 1000 universities globally, while Princess Noura bint Abdulrahman University is  ranked twelfth in the Arab world, Prince Sultan National University is ranked 47th in the Arab World, and Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University is among the 81 universities in the Arab World. 
It is noteworthy that the “Times” World University Ranking depends on several indicators on the basis of which universities are evaluated, namely: the volume of innovation, the number of PhD holders, the number of bachelor’s degree holders, the university’s income, the institution’s reputation in the field of research , the institution’s research income, and the number of annual research papers. In addition to citations for university research, number of citations from what the university produces annually as well as international diversity, learning environment, and reputation of the institution.
